Ligia worked for years as an Electrical Engineer in Brazil and earned a Master’s Degree in Automation and Control. However, she felt that technical skills alone were not sufficient. Considering this, she enrolled herself in an MBA in Marketing, and a whole new world opened up for her. She took numerous other courses and eventually obtained a PhD in Design Management as part of Production Engineering program.
As a lover of learning, Ligia has taken numerous other courses, including professional training in Design Thinking, UX/UI Design and a specialization in Futures Thinking.

Ligia Fascioni worked many years as an electrical engineer, in addition teaching at universities and acting as a business consultant. As a speaker, Ligia has 18 years of experience in corporate events, as well as courses and training.
Ligia has published 9 books in Portuguese on the topics of design, leadership, corporate identity, professional attitude, GPS and innovation.
Based in Berlin since 2011, Ligia also rules a digital illustration studio and a podcast about book reviews.
